Color Sense Deficiency

I have a friend in my bead circle who has the most fabulous color sense. I often marvel at the color schemes she puts together thinking, "I would have NEVER done that, but it looks so perfect together!"
Now, Thanks to our friend and follower, Nan Emmett, we have a link in our sidebar to a very helpful website called Design Seeds. This website puts together perfect color combinations that anyone can use in any craft. Check it out. And Thanks, Nan!

July Give-Away

July's Wonderful Give-Away is generously donated by Cheri Smith at Boozy Baubles. These delicious earrings are made from a liquor bottle from France that held Whipped Cream flavored Vodka. Now THAT is a conversation starter! To get a chance to win, just sign up as a follower in the sidebar and leave a comment anytime in the months of June and July.

Bad Girl! No Cookie!

I've been horribly remiss in taking care of this blog and I apologize profusely. Excuses abound - some good ones and others...not so good.  My mother passed away this month - the understandable excuse for not writing, but I also am taming feral kittens, starting the Saturday Market and beading, beading, beading.
So what's up with the Street Team?
I took flyers to Saturday Market one rainy afternoon telling about our blog and our meetings, and our Fabulous Facebook Page. My thought was to give them to people who are in the Saturday Market and also belong to the Eugene Etsy Street Team (a surprizingly large number) . I took 30 flyers  - Oh how naive of me! I handed them all out within the first few minutes and I think I only hit one or two who were actually in the Street Team. All the others had Etsy shops, but knew nothing about the Street Team. So I need to hand out many more.
We have a wonderful Facebook Page that Pam set up. I'm not horrible Facebook literate and every time I try to put in the link to it here, it ends up going to my personal page. Sooo..... I would suggest contacting  Pam if you want to get on it.
In other news, We have 2 booth Spaces for the Blackberry jam Festival in Lowell on the 29th and 30th of July. If you are interested in putting some of your goods there, contact Pam.
If anyone knows of any other great Summer Festivals that aren't an arm and a leg to get into, please let Pam or I know.
Now - I promised a give-away from last month, so here it is....
The name drawn - (shuffle shuffle, shuffle) is ....Oour Fearless Leader, Pam O' Conner!
Seriously folks, it would have made the competition more interesting if we had more than 2 people commenting.  But Pam has won fair and square.
I will post our next Give-Away soon. LEAVE  A COMMENT and follow this blog for a chance to win.
